Configure Online Booking Settings

Online booking settings decide what customers can do on the public booking form and what information the agency receives when a reservation is submitted.

Payment collection mode

In Online booking payment, choose one payment mode:

• Request booking only: customers submit a request and the agency confirms payment separately.
• Require online payment: the booking stays Awaiting payment, then moves to Pending confirmation after Stripe verifies payment. The agency team confirms it manually.

Payment amount policy

When online payment is required, configure the payment amount policy. AvelisseRent supports common rates of 10% of total, 20% of total, 50% of total, and 100% of total, plus Additional rates from 1 to 100. You can choose the default rate, remaining balance collection method, online reminder timing, customer choice, and secure payment badge.

The dashboard states that the final amount is recalculated on the server from booking price, extras, tax, currency, and dates.

Pickup places and map

Use Available pickup places to add locations customers can select when making online or offline bookings. If no pickup places are added, booking forms use the business address or allow manual entry until places are configured.

Use Location and map to save Map place label, Google Maps iframe or link, Latitude, and Longitude. The map appears on the agency contact page and template location sections.

Reservation requirements

The Reservation requirements section includes:

• Request ID card or passport number: require an ID card or passport number before submitting a reservation.
• Enable booking confirmation workflow: keep booking confirmation and customer notification settings enabled before agency verification.

Website navigation and booking controls

Use Website navigation and booking controls to show or hide agency name beside logo, fleet/search menu, reservation status, contact menu, WhatsApp button, vehicle share buttons, favorite buttons, vehicle rating bar, and booking extras and add-ons.
