Invoices and Payments support Finance by showing invoice lifecycle and paid amount tracking for bookings and manual rental work.

Invoice list columns

The invoice list shows Invoice, Customer, Source, Issued, Total, Paid, Status, and Actions. Manual invoices and invoices generated from bookings are shown together.

Invoice source

The Source column identifies booking invoices and manual invoices. Booking-linked invoices can be reviewed with the related booking number.

Invoice actions

  • View: opens the invoice preview.
  • Print: opens the printable invoice.
  • Mark paid: available for manual invoices that are not already paid.

Why this matters for Finance

Finance uses paid invoice amounts, unpaid balances, booking totals, and payment status information. Incorrect invoice paid amounts or stale statuses can make revenue and unpaid invoice totals misleading.

Review routine

  1. Filter the invoice list to the relevant period.
  2. Check customer, source, issued date, total, paid amount, and status.
  3. Open the invoice preview when totals need confirmation.
  4. Mark manual invoices paid only after payment is verified.
