The Rental operations dashboard gives a daily view for bookings, fleet availability, returns, maintenance, and payments.
Dashboard cards
The dashboard shows Total cars, Available cars, Active rentals, Pending bookings, Today pickups, Today returns, Monthly revenue, and Unpaid invoices.
Monthly revenue
Monthly revenue combines completed bookings returned in the current month with paid amounts from invoices issued in the current month. Booking revenue uses final amount when present, then total price, then amount.
Unpaid invoices
Unpaid invoices sum the remaining balance due across invoices. The calculation uses balance due when available, otherwise total minus paid amount.
Operational panels
- Booking calendar: shows bookings by month.
- Pending bookings: reviews new booking requests before they move into upcoming pickups.
- Recent activity: shows recent booking requests with pickup and return dates.
- Maintenance alerts: shows open maintenance records.
How to use it
Use the dashboard at the start of the day to check pickups, returns, pending bookings, active rentals, and open maintenance. Then open the related booking, invoice, vehicle, or maintenance record when a number requires action.
