Create customer signing links only after agency review, understand email delivery behavior, and manage sent or existing signing pages.

Send secure signing link creates a tokenized customer signing page and emails it when email delivery is configured.

Required review

The checkbox Admin reviewed and approved is required before sending. If it is not selected, AvelisseRent returns: Agency must review and approve the rental agreement before sending it to the customer.

  • A secure contract token is created for the booking.
  • The token expiration is set to 14 days.
  • The booking contract signature status becomes sent unless it was already signed.
  • A booking history entry records that the rental agreement was reviewed and the secure signing link was sent.
  • The signing URL is copied when the browser allows clipboard access.

Email behavior

If email delivery is configured, the customer receives an email titled Review and sign your rental contract with booking reference, vehicle, pickup, return, and the signing link. If email is not configured, AvelisseRent shows that the link was created and copied but email was not sent.

Demo workspace restriction

Demo workspaces block contract email delivery. Use a real agency workspace for production signing emails.

After a token exists, the contract list can show PDF and Link actions, and the configure panel can show Open existing signing page.
