Customer records are closely tied to booking activity. When a booking is created, AvelisseRent uses the booking customer details to create or update a matching customer record.

Matching rules

AvelisseRent deduplicates customers by agency. It prefers a normalized email match, then a normalized phone match, then the customer ID. Duplicate booking references are remapped to the primary customer when possible.

Booking fields that can update a customer

  • Customer name.
  • Customer email.
  • Customer phone.
  • ID card or passport number when collected.
  • Driver license number and driver age when entered during booking or contract preparation.

Booking count

AvelisseRent calculates a customer booking count from bookings linked by customer ID, email, or phone. This count helps identify repeat renters.

Accuracy tip

Use consistent customer email and phone values when creating manual bookings. Inconsistent contact details can split history across multiple customer records.
