Use Website settings to control how much customers must pay when booking online. The relevant card is Online booking payment.
Payment collection mode
- Request booking only: customers submit a request. The agency confirms payment separately.
- Require online payment: the booking stays Awaiting payment, then moves to Pending confirmation after Stripe verifies payment. The agency still confirms it manually.
Payment amount policy
Select one or more rates such as 10% of total, 20% of total, 50% of total, or 100% of total. Use Additional rates for optional whole percentages from 1 to 100, separated by commas.
Default and customer choice
Default rate when customer choice is off controls the required percentage when customers cannot choose. Turn on Let the customer choose the payment rate only when the agency intentionally lets customers select from the configured rates.
Remaining balance collection
Choose Collect at vehicle pickup, Collect online before pickup, or Send a payment link manually. If collecting online before pickup, set Online reminder timing from 0 to 60 days before pickup.
Secure payment badge
Display secure payment badge on your agency website shows a Stripe secure-checkout badge below booking payment buttons and in the website footer after the connected account can accept payments.
Save changes
Select Save payment policy. Then test the public booking form for one published vehicle.
