Booking Statuses and Actions

Booking status controls the actions available to the agency and the progress shown to customers.

Action notes

• Confirm changes a pending booking to confirmed and records “Booking approved.”
• Reject changes a pending booking to rejected and stores the rejection reason “Rejected by agency.”
• Cancel records a cancellation reason depending on the stage.
• No show marks a confirmed booking as no-show.
• Pickup opens the guided pickup checklist.
• Return opens the guided return checklist.

Best practice

Only use Pickup after checking the customer documents and vehicle condition. Only use Return after recording mileage, fuel level, damage notes, and extra charges when needed.
