Run Guided Return and Complete a Rental

Guided return closes an active rental and moves the booking to completed.

Open guided return

1. Open Active bookings, Returns, or the active booking detail page.
2. Select Return.
3. Review the booking number, customer name, and vehicle shown at the top of the screen.

Return checklist fields

• actual_return_time: actual date and time the vehicle returned.
• Return mileage.
• Return fuel level.
• Damage notes.
• Extra charges.
• Late return fee.
• Cleaning fee.
• Final total.

Complete the rental

Select Complete rental. AvelisseRent records “Rental completed from guided return,” saves return details, adds extra charges, late return fee, and cleaning fee, then changes the booking status to completed.

Detail-page completion

An active booking detail page also includes a compact completion form with Final mileage, Fuel level, Extra charges, Damage notes, and Complete rental.
